Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff of our offices in Babylon, Valley Stream, and Huntington.
Dr. Aleksandra Wianecka, OD
Dr. Aleksandra Wianecka graduated with Honors from SUNY College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Wianecka then completed her residency at Northport VA in primary eyecare, low vision, head trauma, vision therapy and ocular disease. After her residency she was an Assistant Professor at SUNY College of Optometry and worked at Stony Brook Hospital Opthalmology Department. Since 2004 Dr. Wianecka has been working in a private practice.
Dr. Wianecka is the former President of the Suffolk County Optometric Society, and past Director of Copiague Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Wianecka was recently elected to be a Trustee for the New York State Optometric Society. She is also involved with the infant’s vision care program called Infants See, where she provides free eye exams to infants 1 to 12 months in order to prevent amblyopia and other childhood diseases which might otherwise go unnoticed.
Dr. Wianecka specializes in primary eye care, vision therapy, low vision rehabilitation, ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. She also works with numerous Opthomologists to co-manage care for Lasik, Cataract Surgery, and other various surgical procedures.
Dr. Wianecka participated on missions trips to Mexico and Haiti to provide a very much needed eye care there. She also volunteers in Special Olympics and helps with screenings with special needs kids.
Dr. Wianecka is married and has two daughters. She enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr. Corinne Blum
Dr. Corinne Blum was born and raised in Huntington, NY. She attended Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then graduated from the State College of Optometry in New York receiving two awards of academic excellence.
Dr. Blum has completed internships in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, pediatrics and vision therapy. She then went on to complete her residency in primary eye care at SUNY Optometry. In her residency she gained advances skills in LASIK pre and post-operative care, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses and ocular disease. She completed her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry shortly after her residency, showing her commitment to lifelong learning and quality patient care. She enjoys providing full scope eye-care to patients of all ages.
When she is not working, Dr. Blum enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and doing any outdoor activities. She has two beautiful children who definitely keep her busy! We hope you get to meet her and share in her knowledge and love of vision care.

Dr. Kelsey Jones
Dr. Kelsey Jones grew up in Magnolia, Delaware. She attended Muhlenberg College for her undergraduate degree in biology and graduated cum laude. She then went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she was a member of the Gold Key Optometric Society and graduated cum laude.
Dr. Jones completed internships that focused on primary care optometry, ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. She is trained in medical optometry to manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. She co-manages with specialists for pre- and post-operative care of LASIK and cataract patients. Dr. Jones also sees patients of all ages for comprehensive eye examinations.
When she is not working, Dr. Jones loves to spend her time on the beach. She also enjoys traveling to Delaware to visit her family and friends who still reside there.
Dr. Lauren Sabol
Dr. Lauren Sabol was raised in Westchester, NY. She attended SUNY Geneseo for her undergraduate degree in biology and human development. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry. Dr Sabol graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. She was also published in Review of Optometry with “Tackling the Myopia or Glaucoma question.”
Dr. Sabol completed her clinical training at Somers Eye Center, Ophthalmic Consultants of CT and Woodhull Hospital. She is trained in the treatment and management of ocular diseases, pre-operative and post-operative surgical care, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Dr. Sabol has a passion for medical optometry to address vision care and eye diseases. She provides comprehensive eye exams with compassion and extensive patient education.
Dr. Sabol enjoys staying active with outdoor activities such as golf, ultimate frisbee, and hiking. She also loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
